Prince William appeared at the Commonwealth Games with his family this weekend, and people think he showed how he “really feels” about Princess Kate by performing a simple action

The Royals delighted people this weekend as they attended the Commonwealth Games, with the Prince and Princess of Wales being spotted at the event with their children. On Saturday, August 1, Prince William and Princess Kate attended the event, drawing thunderous applause as they settled into their seats inside the 5,000-seater stadium to watch the netball.
They were also joined by their three children, Prince George, 13, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, seven. However, ever since photographs have emerged, people have been focusing on William’s actions, as many believe he showed how he “truly feels” about Kate.
This follows reports that Prince William appeared to show his “true colours” recently. This came after Prince Harry recently visited the UK.
In the wake of their appearance at the Games, sharp-eyed viewers on X were quick to flag something they considered noteworthy. Many believe William simply couldn’t resist edging closer to his wife as the day wore on, pointing to what they considered a telling and subtle gesture on his part.
One social media user wrote: “How it started v. how it ended. Oh William.”
In the pictures circulating online, one image shows the couple seated with their children between them, leaning across to chat. A subsequent image then reveals the pair sitting directly beside one another, with the children repositioned next to them.
People found it endearing that he appeared to yearn to be nearer to his wife throughout the day. Indeed, many believed it said volumes about just how much he adores her and cherishes being in her company.

One said: “Smart man.” Another added: “Perfect.”
A third replied: “They can’t live without each other.” Elsewhere on social media, someone wrote: “What a man.”
One more also noted: “Aawwhh! Prince William wanted to sit next to Princess Catherine! So sweet. The bond they have with each other and their children is amazing! I love it!”
It appears the family enjoyed a brilliant day out as well. The Prince and Princess of Wales expressed their pleasure at attending on Instagram on Saturday.
In a post, they said: “Incredible atmosphere at the Commonwealth Games today. Watching world-class talent compete and seeing the power of sport to bring people together is truly special.
“Thank you to everyone involved for such a wonderful day.” This was followed by another post, which read: “Congratulations to every athlete taking part in this year’s Commonwealth Games!
“A special well done to Team Wales for proudly representing the nation on the international stage. It was a pleasure to join the athletes today at Wales House. Llongyfarchiadau, Team Wales!”
It’s safe to say the Royals thrilled crowds with their presence. Many enthused over photographs that have since surfaced.
