A popular BBC daytime series is back once again and is on the hunt for some new faces

There’s good news for families in Wales as they have the chance to take part in the new series of BBC One’s The Travelling Auctioneers.

The beloved daytime show, which started in 2022, has now opened casting for its next instalment with filming kicking off throughout the summer into October.
The programme is looking for households across the nation to uncover the stories hidden within their homes.
People have the opportunity to have their family heirlooms, interesting collections and treasured possessions valued, restored and potentially sold at auction.
Those who are successful will then get help from some of the country’s best-known auctioneers and expert restorers as they reveal the history, craftmanship and potential value of items that have often been tucked away for generations.

In each episode, BBC viewers will see the people behind the possessions celebrated as they reveal their memories, family histories and personal journeys connected to every object.
Auctioneers featured in the new series will include the likes of Bee Harford , Izzie Balmer and JB Broad, alongside expert restorers JJ Chalmers, Lauren Wood and Robin Johnson.
Series Producer for The Travelling Auctioneers, Ami Anderson, said: “Every collection tells a story. Sometimes it’s about a family’s history, sometimes it’s about a lifetime of collecting, and sometimes it’s simply about helping people move on to a new chapter.

“We’re looking for contributors from every corner of the UK with interesting belongings, personal stories and items that could benefit from the expertise of our auctioneers and restorers.
“If you’ve ever wondered what might be hiding in your loft, garage, shed or spare room, we’d love to hear from you.”
The BBC have shared that the team are interested particularly in those moving homes or downsizing, sorting through inherited belongings and living with collections that have grown over the years.
They are also keen about hearing from those curious about unusual antiques or collectables, looking to restore treasured possessions before selling them at auction and Stepping into a new chapter of their life and just want that fresh start
