Britain’s Got Talent came to a standstill after KSI recognised an unexpected performer who took to the ITV stage.

The boxer-turned-judge struggled to maintain his composure when Moldova’s internet phenomenon – the Epic Sax Guy – emerged and launched into his legendary track

KSI said: “Oh my God, I thought I recognised this guy. Oh my God, this is crazy.” As the routine commenced, he exclaimed: “What!” as Alesha pressed her buzzer, before adding: “It is, yes, oh my God, it’s Epic Sax Guy!”

The situation intensified when footage of KSI himself – wearing a gold jumpsuit copying the artist – was displayed on the large screen during the performance. KSI said: “That’s me, oh my God, this is an honour.”

Following the act, KSI leapt up to embrace the musician as a bewildered Alesha enquired: “I don’t understand what’s happening here. Tell us what’s going on?”

KSI clarified: “That’s me in the video! I was inspired by this guy. I saw him do the epic [performs a hip thrust], and I wanted to implement that in my video.” The artist added: “Our video went so viral.”

Once back in his seat, KSI proclaimed: “The easiest yes from me, you absolute legend.” He then appealed to a hesitant Simon Cowell: “How about for the next round I perform with him?”

“In that outfit?” Simon enquired. “Yes,” KSI responded. Simon then said: “Ok. It’s a yes then. I’m looking forward to this.”

During the episode, the fifth Golden Buzzer of the series was awarded – on this occasion by presenters Ant and Dec – as the latest audition round produced another memorable performance, reports the Express.

The presenting pair were left in stitches by comedian Ted Hill, whose creative stand-up routine merged slick presentation-style graphics with sharp, rapid-fire gags.elow

Combining his experience hosting science programmes for youngsters with keen observational comedy, Hill had both the studio audience and judging panel roaring with laughter – leading Ant and Dec to hit the Golden Buzzer and send him directly through to the next stage.

Hill’s comedy is largely based on his personal experiences, with material examining his life with autism and ADHD, as well as his specialist interests spanning from US presidents to graphs and maps. This distinctive approach has already garnered him a dedicated fanbase, with several Edinburgh Fringe performances and a successful Soho Theatre residency to his name.

Home viewers were swift to applaud the choice, with one writing: “Absolutely hilarious and deserving of the golden buzzer!” Another commented: “Deserved that buzzer… I thought he was great… unique”, while a third noted: “I loved that audition. He’s really funny.”

Nevertheless, not all were persuaded, with one complaining: “The Golden Buzzer literally means nothing anymore. What happened to acts who actually deserved it? It’s just given out to anyone like sweets nowadays.”

Ted now becomes part of an expanding roster of Golden Buzzer acts this series. Simon Cowell was the first to hit it for Australian para-athlete Paul Nunnari, whose wheelchair stunts left the panel in awe.
