Thomas Tuchel fumes at England stars just minutes into Norway clash as he ‘runs down touchline with arms whirling’
THOMAS TUCHEL lost his rag at the England players just minutes into the World Cup quarter-final against Norway.
The Three Lions boss could be seen running down the touchline and waving his arms in frustration.
Geoff Shreeves was pitchside, commentating on the match for US broadcaster Fox when the German’s temper boiled over.
The commentator suggested that the former Bayern Munich boss wanted the players to increase the tempo of play.
He said: “Prior to England winning the corner, Thomas Tuchel was not happy with the speed of the play.
“He wants them to get forward much much quicker. He ran down the touchline arms whirling.”
England were unable to find a breakthrough early on against the Scandinavians ahead of the first hydration break.
During the drinks break, Tuchel could be seen singling out Noni Madueke and Anthony Gordon for instructions.
The players were being supported by their Wags in the stands at the Miami Stadium.
Before kick-off, the players of both nations stood around the centre circle for a moment’s silence for Jayden Adams.

Harry Kane and Jordan Pickford both reached historic landmarks after starting the game for England.
Kane is now the most-capped outfield player in England‘s history, with the World Cup contest against Norway being his 120th.
He is drawn with Wayne Rooney in second among all English players for caps.
