Meghan shares rare glimpse of Sussex family’s new life in Britain as Archie’s accent sparks debate

Meghan Markle has offered her followers a rare look at Prince Harry and their children settling into life in the British countryside — but it was Prince Archie’s voice that quickly became one of the most talked-about details.

The Duchess of Sussex shared a 34-second Instagram montage on September 13 showing Harry, Archie and Princess Lilibet enjoying a series of outdoor family activities, including boating, fishing, cycling and walking through the countryside.

Lilibet’s pink detail catches attention

Lilibet, five, also attracted attention in the video for a much smaller detail.

The young princess is shown warming her bare feet beside a fire, with what appears to be a pink pedicure visible.

Her love of pink is also reflected in another part of the montage, where she rides a pink bicycle through the countryside with a doll positioned in the rear seat.

The detail prompted comparisons with her cousin, Princess Charlotte, who has also been photographed wearing brightly coloured nail polish.

Charlotte has previously been seen with pink nail polish at Wimbledon and later with blue polish in a family portrait released for the Prince and Princess of Wales’ 15th wedding anniversary.

Meghan’s first major glimpse of life back in Britain

The Instagram montage comes shortly after Harry and Meghan returned to Britain following six years in the United States.

The family returned to the UK on August 26 and have been establishing a new base while retaining their property in Montecito, California, as well as a holiday home in Portugal.
